2024-01-07: A violent clash was reported between security forces and militants on Sunday evening (7 January, local time) in Moreh, a town along the India-Myanmar border in the Tengnoupal District of Manipur. Reportedly, the clash was initiated by militants attacking the barracks of the security forces with crude bombs, prompting strong retaliation from combined teams of security forces. However, no injuries were reported following the incident.
